Getaway

Getaway Beaver Creek was an ideal base camp for a few days of much needed outdoor adventure for my wife and me. It was near some really great trail running and hiking spots (including its own lovely 1.3 mile nature trail) but close enough to home that it was convenient to reach). The unit itself provided simplicity of a cabin that let you feel near to nature but was comfortable and modern. We are looking forward to going back and also visiting other Getaway outposts.

We had a wonderful two night stay at Getaway Beaver Creek. Cabins were exactly as described on-line and support person via texts was extremely helpful. Everything was in working order and cabins were very clean and welcoming.

It's always a great adventure and this time was no different. I found a golf ball where one should never have been. I walked along the road picking up every bit of trash I could find to dispose of it properly. we even had a power outage due to a storm and 10 degrees with no A/C is an adventure unto itself. I really enjoyed it, though I wouldn't beg for the power outage. ha ha

I loved it and my partner loved it too. Perfect bang for your buck, and I was surprised by the quality. We didn’t want to leave. We’ll surely be back.

My stay at the tiny house was great. I stayed last year and the difference between last year and this year is that the tiny house looked “somewhat” used. I stayed for 4 days this time and it was hard not to notice little things. Ex. The cutting board looked extremely used, there was practically no pepper in the can, the floor needed power washing, the duvet looked worn, there was no starter in my wood bin, the big window needed a clean, and the refrigerator took over 8 hours to chill. I really was worried about my meats and dairy I brought. I really understand wear and tear and this little things(except for the fridge that sucked) won’t stop me from visiting again but you did ask where you can improve on.
