Getaway

I took my son camping for the first time. It was his birthday. I was not expecting to walk in and see birthday decor. I almost cried. I am a single mom. I was rushing to get everything for our trip and was unable to do anything additional. The cabin had every we needed! I felt safe and secure. I was a bit concerned about having to wait until 230p-3p to get the details of my stay. I had quite a drive and didn't want to drive in the middle of nowhere at night. Plus, I promised a campfire meal. It all worked out. We will plan a longer trip next time. And maybe do a 2bed cabin. Although one was enough for us.

It's an easy trip that requires little packing because all my needs are taken care of by Getaway. I felt a huge shift in my mental clarity after having 4 nights with no cell service or wifi. It's exactly what I needed.

I absolutely enjoyed my Getaway experience in Shenandoah! I got to watch an awesome sunset in Shenandoah NP during my stay and got to explore the area. I would do this again, but for a longer stay!

We had a wonderful time, even though it was just one day. We enjoyed a carefree day before my 2 grandkids and their mom head back to school. We played San Antonio Monopoly game for the first together and had a blast. Even though there was an active burn ban, the grill provided made up for it.

BFF Birthday was blast! Wine, drinks, great food! Can’t wait to do it again!
