Getaway

Peaceful and relaxing stay, very quiet and calm. I'll definitely be back

This “Getaway” was my second, but first staying in Shenandoah. It was a nice location with cute little shops nearby. I was most appreciative of the bear safety tips although I was a little skittish about venturing out into the woods (needless to say, I spotted a bear crossing the street as I was headed back to the outpost). Overall my stay was peaceful and I would go back. The views of the mountains were beautiful and I even went to the Yoder Market, which was nice. I’m looking forward to my next Getaway adventure.

Everything was perfect. Just the right amount of space. Good please to relax in the middle of nowhere. Shower, toilette and sink work really good. Katterskill falls is a must. The team was in top of everything, texting us to see if we need anything at all times. We had an amazing time Thank you!!

My wife and I enjoyed the mini-cabin! It is a great setup! By providing all that you did in the cabin our packing for the trip was made easy. The design is fascinating and really sound. We enjoyed sitting in bed in the morning with coffee looking out the huge window. You have put together a well thought out way to enjoy nature.

This was a very relaxing experience!! We came with another couple.We all had a awesome time!!Everything was very clean and we had everything we needed! And the little touches here and there did not go unnoticed!!! 🥰🥰 The staff was very accommodating as well! We walked in and were very impressed with (our little home)! That’s what we called it!! We walked the trails and they were beautiful!!!! We all had a very relaxing time!! We will be making this one of our yearly vacations!!!! Thx for everything Gateway Staff!!!!!!
