Getaway

My husband, two fur babies, and I had a wonderful stay in Margo last week. The cabin was cozy, clean, and had almost all the amenities we needed. The only thing missing was a microwave, which would've been extra nice for quicker meals, but otherwise a perfect setup for two nights. Check in/out was a breeze also! The location is remote enough for relaxation and peacefulness, but still close enough to civilization within a short drive. Plus, we still have cell service with T-Mobile, bonus! We didn't get to check out the nature trails nearby, but found Little Mountain Park nearby and did a bit of hiking there, as suggested by the Getaway Guidelines. It's helpful to follow the map once you're there. All in all, we enjoyed our stay very much and would return for another visit.

Stayed at Getaway Asheboro to celebrate my anniversary. It was such a calm, peaceful, and relaxing experience. The cabin has all the basic necessities. I love how it forces you to focus on yourself or the person that you are with. We we’re surrounded by beautiful nature and walked down to the pond but other than that we just enjoyed our time with one another. I would definitely recommend bringing a blanket or any item that will make your stay more comfortable according to your personal preference. Definitely BRING BUG SPRAY! Overall it was a great time and I would not mind returning.
