I bought the carry-on sized bag one year ago and have absolutely loved it! I get compliments all the time and my partner was inspired to get one herself too! I’ve taken it on many short trips and flights that allowed carry-on and required check-in. It has been wonderful for these short trips needing to manageably pack ‘just enough’ and look good doing it. Here are a few caveats I’d like to share: 1. I love the recycled aspect of Paravel but it isn’t all durable. The black linen cover that came with the bag tore within one use, requiring me to throw it away. It looked good and seemed to protect the bag during storage at home but didn’t last when it accidentally caught on something minor. 2. This bag is susceptible to knicks and marks, as with any bag, which has been hard to deal with considering the price. Spending a lot on something that is now scratched up is hard to fathom. The bag isn’t damaged but loses it’s sheen when looked up close. This has mostly been due to allowing other people to handle the bag (checking it at an airport) which I’d highly recommend avoiding considering they’re not used to the care appropriate for such a bag. Overall, everything else about it has been amazing and I continue to look forward to using it one every trip!
