We bought our old Grandson the train track starter set for Christmas it kept him , his dad and grandad amused for hours. We have just celebrated his 3rd Birthday investing in a track expansion kit, railway crossing gates and the heritage battery driven Flying Scotsman engine he loved it , it sparked his imagination and he has had hours of fun building more complex track layouts with his dad and even letting his little 18 month sister get involved. Money well spent , I am sure overly the next few birthdays / Christmas the rail network will expand ,
