I bought this after reading few reviews, Tony Wright from BRM (a close friend) some from Hornby Forums where fellow modellers bought this and talk about this model. First impression was the courier company didn't look after the parcel as it was damaged but the loco and the box were intact. When I received this loco, first thing which impressed me was the weight of the whole package which confirms that loco, might be the heaviest loco ever made by any Manufacturer. Good start. Loco came fitted with driver in the cab, lamps (not working) pre fitted, few spares in a bag for more hard core modellers to install, I just left them aside. Loco ran perfectly straight out of the box, for me, the most important thing is extra slow motion moving, which this loco did and great smile on my face for such a hefty priced loco. Directional lighting works in DC mode as well (as I only run on DC track). Very very happy with this purchase. THANKS HORNBY
