The name Airfix says it all for me, I grew up building Airfix kits and never lost my fondness for the company, so seeing them doing so well once again and continually revising, updating and adding new models is great. I have never built a 48-scale model before, and I haven’t starting building this one yet, but it looks beautiful. When I saw that Airfix had come out with a T-9 Spitfire I had to have one — I have a flight in one booked for next month and have promised myself I will build whichever aircraft I get to fly afterwards.
