Ceramic Poker Chips
I purchased the sample sets of Chipco Classics, Pieces of Eight (pirate) and Spartan Warrior sets. I love the feel of them. I prefer the lighter (10g) chips. I prefer the satin edges over the slick edge of similar chips (Scroll & Nevada Jacks). Same with the face texture, it's just rough enough where as the other two are a bit too rough.
Spartan Warrior: Why is there no "L" (50) chip.?
Pieces of Eight: The edges are a bit busy but I could live with it as you can still easily identify the chips from the edge.
Chipco Classic: The edge of the red 5 is too dark, it looks more brown than red. I would also prefer the 500 chip be purple (rather than the 50). I like the large easy to read values. I think these are my favorites. They are customizable to have different values on them and even your own text.
If you are looking for a high end chip for home these sets should get serious consideration.
