I LOVE GIANT MICROBES

I’m happy to get Asthma, Stomach, and E. Coli.

My 7 year old Granddaughter found Giant Microbes on Amazon and became fascinated by the “cuteness” of the product. We have been buying them over the last several months, and now she has become quite educated on bacteria, viruses and other organisms and vectors. She has decided to dress as the Plague Doctor for Halloween. I’ve never met a child with such an interest in micro-organisms! We frequently play with these creatures, and must be mindful of who plays well with whom. Bacteriophage was a favorite, and when we couldn’t get it thru Amazon we contacted the GiantMicrobes company and they sent one right out! She has become particularly fond of the group boxes (ancient plagues, cells of the body, etc) because their smaller size makes them even cuter! And I am amused by the fact that Heartworm and Rabies have embedded squeaking devices and are suitable as dog toys. Overall, I love the product, my Granddaughter loves the “toys” and is also learning a lot about micro-organisms, as they all come with a sweetheart card describing the organism and its actions. The boxed sets have the description on the back of the box. Lots of fun! 🦠

I have had a friend for 30 years, who is chronically ill with multiple complcations. We often discuss her maladies, and she tries to stay positive and look for “the bright side”, One of her problems is kidney stone formation. She received her kidney stone microbe from me last week, and she was amused by “it”.
