It also makes you attempt tiles that many would shy away from because it wasn't their style. The scores are now double, and if you want to push for a longer game you have that power. New decrees get everyone around the table to raise their eyebrows silently when their imaginations foresee the advantages. 30 point leads are now temporary. Can you believe that?? On a good game, opponents are even interjecting to show a higher scoring/chain reacting option, with zero regard for their game because EVERYTHING works well.
