I work at a private
I work at a private training gym and this belt has been a welcome addition. We have a Rogue rhino belt squat and I was looking to replace the belt that originally came with the piece. A good bit of clients/athletes find this belt more comfortable than our old rogue one. Additionally, having clients that range anywhere from a 5'2 middle schooler to a 6'10 basketball player, I like the loop options on the belt. Previously with the Rogue belt, even at the highest loops, if I wanted an athlete 5'4-5'5 or under to squat to 14" box I would have to throw mats under their feet. With this belt, I'd say athletes around 5'2 could squat to about 14" and not bottom out the belt squat every time.
The only thing I'd say that could be better is that I'd like for the loops to be a bit beefed up. Between our athletes, clients, powerlifters, etc. , the belt squat sees a good bit of use in a day. If someone isn't paying attention when clipping the belt on, parts of the carabiner slip against the loops which could fray and artificially shorten the life of this belt. Now I don't hold this against the belt itself as that's a user error and not on the company whatsoever, but when you have enough people using thing in the gym you want the thing to either be extremely durable or idiot proof (its your lucky day if you can find something with both).
That being said we've had the belt for at least 4 months now and haven't had any issues with fraying whatsoever, just putting that possibility out there. Awesome product. I'd recommend it to anyone with a belt squat.
