This is my first new snowboard, I have always been on used. I got it because this is so much lighter than any board I picked up at my local shop and has a good medium flex. I have done every thing so far except boxes and rails and deep powder. It handled slush, jumps, carves, I took it up to double black as well. It is fun and floaty in the So Cal mush. Had an ice day too and did fine, just took me a little to find the right pressure to get the hold needed.
