Nidecker Kita Hybrid
I am riding the Nidecker Kira Hybrid. Only have half a dozen days in on them in less than ideal snow conditions, break in period so riding them half days at work(Work Patrol at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort) so far, super happy with the boot, it is as advertised, a stiff, responsive boot, that is probably the most comfortable boot/Liner I have put on out the box, I have bone spurs that I always have to pack out a bit that is no different with the Kita as is not a super wide boot, but after another half dozen days of half day and maybe another heat mold with a bit more padding between the liner and tight spot, should be great. So far, no heel lift and I am coming from a number of years riding the K2 Aspect with a similar heel lock but Nidecker having laced it through the whole tongue makes for a more comfortable fit when you crank it down and I think better overall hold as it spreads out the pressure. I bootpack a lot at Kicking horse and it is great having the vibram for traction, and the toe cup is solid, really good for kicking steps. If looking for a stiff, aggressive boot, I would recommend
