I bought These mats to test a Cold Steel Chisa Katana. The mats are very dense and tough after soaking them overnight, I'll definitely be buying more, you have to have good edge alignment and speed when cutting, the mat will tell you if you need more practice, it'll stop the blade on a bad cut.
