Worth Every Penny
My career allows me to work 100% from home. I am required to stay at a desk/computer most of my work day. I can perform most all of my normal work activities while walking or standing on at my treadmill desk. Typing is easy while walking, though handwriting notes takes practice and perhaps requires a slower pace. Extremely pleased with the treadmill base and automatic adjusting desk, so much that I use this desk every day for work. I spent the extra money to buy the desk that adjusts height with just a push of a button. I adjust the height daily and will sit on a stool if working on something that requires me to be still. The treadmill is extremely quiet. Much better than the low end traditional treadmills I have walked on in the past. I suffer from low back pain. This treadmill desk helps me better manage that pain and achieve my daily step goal. My desk is located in the sunroom of my home. Being able to see outside makes the experience more enjoyable, as it better simulates walking outside. I was a little worried that I might get a motion sickness feeling on it as this is an issue I have to deal with, but I am very happy to say that I adjusted to walking and working very easily. I ordered the 48" gray desk top, which matches the tile in my home perfectly. A smaller size would have been too small for me. The desk offers some cable management options which is nice for those of us that can't stand a ton of cords and wires everywhere. My husband assembled everything. He is great at putting things together, but it did take him more time that I expected to get everything done. If you struggle with assembling things, you may want to consider paying extra to have someone set it up for you. Personally I don’t like their app for your smartphone. They need to improve it. To overcome the app, I just note my steps at the end of the day and save in an Excel document to track my activity. I consider this an investment in my overall health and I cannot say enough good things about this purchase. I have no regrets, it’s worth every penny.
