I bought this for myself strictly for walking purposes. I am 69 and have no desire to run or jog. Just walk. For my purposes, this is a very nice machine. I like the choice of preset programs, and I like the choice of "manual" so I can set my own pace and incline levels. I like having a fan, as I tend to get warm when I walk. Normally, I set my walking speed at 4 mph, and the incline anywhere between 2 and 5. I love that the machine allows me many choices. It has an easy screen read out. It responds quickly to my choice changes while I am in the manual mode. If I use a preset program, I cannot make any changes until the program is over (I am able to stop the machine if I need to do so). This machine does not come with built-in speakers, but I don't mind because I have my Bose nearby allowing me to play my CD's. I am very happy and satisfied with my purchase.

I really appreciate the cratfsmanship of my treadmill and desk. The components are sturdy and the instructions were easy to follow during assembly. The treadmil is very quiet; most of the sound comes from footfalls. If I was buying another one, I would opt for the larger desktop. 36” sounds big until you place all your tools on it. It is taking time to get used to, though. I had not considered that the motion of walking would mimic riding in a car. Reading and typing while walking is making me “car sick.” Hopefully I can adjust and/or find the sweet spot and really enjoy this more. I hate sitting all day!
