Extremely Happy

I bought the Megladon 12' and I was very pleased with how quick it shipped out. I received it two days before our vacation, just enough time to inflate it and inspect the accompanying gear. Everything work as was supposed to and we deflated and rolled it up packing it for our trip. Fast forward two days and inflated this beast at the beach for its maiden voyage and to my delight it was a pleasure to use. Extremely stable and paddles and turns very easy for such a large board. It handles the mild surf, no problem, fishing from it, no problem, paddling in calm water, no problem, all four of us even sat on it and just floated around without a problem. I highly recommend this board.

Love my board!!

I wish I hadn’t have waited till the end of summer to purchase my Isle Versa. I took it out on our favorite lake to do some paddling. I’m a beginner and I can honestly say it was SO stable, I didn’t fall even once in the choppy conditions. And I paddled for several hours. The board came packaged well with no issues. The fun was easy to put on after I looked up the video... I think the instruction pamphlet it comes with might be for a different fin system? My one and only complaint is that it scratches super easily. So the paint finish isn’t going to look so hot by next summer- but, the board is fantastic! So happy I purchased.

Good Product and Great Customer Service

We bought our two 12' Explorer iSUPs in June. The first time we set them up we noticed the removable fins had a very loose fit. Isle sent us two new fins but that did not fix the problem. We warrantied both boards at the end of July. Isle provided impeccable warranty service. They shipped out the replacement boards as soon as UPS notified Isle that our returns were in the mail. In all, we were without boards for less than a week. The new boards don't have the fin problem and quality control seems to be better this time around. We didn't have to resort to a screw driver to put together the paddles that came the second time. Overall we are very happy with the product. The Explorers are not as high performance as our 10 year old Bic Wings but they are much more versatile. We have backpacked them into remote lakes. We thrown them into the back of the truck on a car camping trip and pulled them out only when we needed them. We took them down a class 1-2 river run and bounced off rocks with no ill effect. Our 95 pound black golden has joined us on all these trips and the Explorer has the payload capacity to handle her along with my fat ass. The only real problem we have had with them is pumping them up. The included Isle pumps are mediocre and take a lot of effort to inflate the iSUP; we upgraded them almost immediately. Our Kpump 220 is great for backcountry missions were weight and space is critical. Our Red Paddle Titan is the best manual pump we have used but is bulky and still takes a lot of effort. We recently bought a Bravo pump but we will probably return it. It is supposed to have two modes, high volume and high pressure, but only high pressure works. It is supposed to go up to 15 PSI but in the field it only got to about 10 PSI and then we had to use the Kpump or the Titan. The only good thing about all these after market pumps is that they are not too expensive compared to biking, climbing, or skiing gear, especially if you shop around. Overall we are very happy with our Isle Explorer purchase.
