Seems fine but must use batteries. The one we had earlier, which quit working, had a plug-in wire as well as Batts. Lack of such a wire seems very wasteful and unnecessarily expensive in battery costs

The Garmin Hrm pairs easily with the Garmin Venu 3 plus. I’ve also paired the Hrm with Concept 2 & Techno Gym rowing machines & with an Eliptical machine. The scant information with the HRM did not help in pairing with the gym machines. I did a google search to find the information. The HRM strap rubs my chest where the ends connect. I put a cotton pad to solve this problem. My heart rate did spike from 115 to 175 for about 30 seconds and yet I was not exerting any extra effort. I don’t know if it was the HRM or my heart & I will compare to my watch’s HRM. In general, the Garmin HRM Pro seems to be easy to use and accurate. Jim
