Recently purchased the Polar HR9 to replace an older Garmin that had given up the ghost after years of good service. The Polar HR9 is an excellent buy given its ability to send data via ANT+, Bluetooth, and 5kHz protocols to virtually cycling computer, smart watch, gym equipment, and associated apps. Pardon the pun but performance wise it never misses a beat. I must say that I find the OEM Polar Softstrap a more robust and comfortable strap than the generic HeartRate Monitors USA strap, that would be my only knock.
