I’m a 6 foot 250
I’m a 6 foot 250 pound 58-year-old guy. I have to say I was pretty hesitant to try a band system like this after lifting heavy most of my life; l’m not a fan of get fit/strong at home products and at this one was kind of pushing my budget.
It’s definitely a different way to work out.. and I’ve had to adjust how I approach it and keep an open mind, which so far is not a bad thing.. like going from machines to Free weights. I’ve only had a hand full of work outs to this point.. but the more I become comfortable with the Bow the more I like it and find different ways to get a full Routine in ; so far I think I’m on something like 15 variations/exercises with another handful that I have yet to try.
The other hidden benefit ; as much as I like dumbbells and free weights.. The bands offer a “softer push” into the weight that my joints are really appreciating.
What turned out to be a good decision.. I went with the Ultra bundle plus an extra bench band. I’m pretty sure without the bench pressing bands I would’ve been disappointed with the product for the way I like to work out. My strength has still not caught back up from the lockdown, but I think I’m probably going to purchase the heavy/ultra heavy band kit and probably one more bench press band in the near future.
The quality of the bow and bands is top notch, for the price point the nylon products.. The pads and more so the band bag is really underwhelming and starting to come apart. Just kind of a small disappointment.
Now to the part that really made the sale. The customer service was top-notch! Jody went out of her way to help me straighten out a couple of problems with my order, getting it shipped to me much faster than expected. (my fault with the order) Her friendly and attentive service really made me feel confident about ordering the Bow and dealing with Gorilla Bow in the future...
