Boots + Lamp Both Great
Purchased Crispi GTX Idaho uninsulated. Have hiked about 5miles so far, 7mi hike this weekend. Without a doubt, the highest quality boot I have ever put my feet in. From the start, simply slipping my feet in the boots (before lacing), I noticed the support around feet/ankles. Laced up, a little stiff but that's what I needed for mountain backpacking/hunting. Size was spot on for me, just stuck with my normal 9.5 sizing and boots are able to accept my feet with hunting socks. Big investment, but the boots are already exceeding expectations.
Black-Diamond Spot 325 Lumen Headlamp - Only used around the house thus far, putting to the test this weekend in the woods. Can say a few things: 1: Multiple lighting adjustments, the dimming feature is super nice. Housing is tight, comfortable on head. VERY Bright. Going to upgrade my back-up head lamp to this as well.
