Ordered an EGO fishing backpack

Ordered an EGO fishing backpack for a trip I was going on. Wasn’t notified it was on back order and wouldn’t be receiving it for at least 4 weeks. Needless to say the order was cancelled and I shopped elsewhere.

Was told they were out

Was told they were out of stock even though the website said in stock have not heard back on a possible shipping date after the initial email informing me it was back ordered till mid May have not received stop spamming me reviews

Would not recommend

I ordered something for my boyfriend and I was hoping to have it for his birthday and because you didn’t take the bag off of the website or put a disclaimer that it would be sent out WAY after I ordered it. Instead I got an email saying that I could get a refund or wait and when I asked to keep my order and how I might be compensated for my inconvenience I never got an email back and I had to send another email just to make sure I was on the “list” to receive what I PAID $130 for. Customer service is lacking and now I have to wait over a month just for it to be shipped with no consideration or apology.

Unaware of Backorder

Placed and order and after over 10 days I called several times until I got someone on the phone to then be told my item was on back order until sometime in January. Was not told a date, at that time I cancelled my order. Was very disappointed that I was not aware my item was on back order.

Taking Customer Money When Zero Stock of Requested Item

EGO website accepted my order and payment. The next day I received a letter from EGO Customer Service saying that the item I ordered was out of stock and would not be back in stock until December. They offered to refund my money or put me on waiting list for the item. My problem is that with a little programing, their website could inform customers of zero stock and give them an option to place order or leave website. Instead they have my money when they had zero stock and I am waiting for their item to come in. Amazon, Lowes, Home Depot, etc. all have websites telling customers whether there was any of the requested items in stock.
