Taking Customer Money When Zero Stock of Requested Item
EGO website accepted my order and payment. The next day I received a letter from EGO Customer Service saying that the item I ordered was out of stock and would not be back in stock until December. They offered to refund my money or put me on waiting list for the item.
My problem is that with a little programing, their website could inform customers of zero stock and give them an option to place order or leave website. Instead they have my money when they had zero stock and I am waiting for their item to come in.
Amazon, Lowes, Home Depot, etc. all have websites telling customers whether there was any of the requested items in stock.
