I purchased these boots many years ago and sent them back for a different sole as the tread was worn. Since then i had some foot issues and they were heavy so i sent them back to replace with the original light sole. I love my Mountain Light hikers. I just ordered a new pair of recurve boots and also own 2 pairs of Elk Hunter boots. Danner is my boot company. Thank you for making fine boots.

I have no complaints at all with Danner boots. Every pair of Danner boots have been very comfortable and lasted very well for the price point, from military boots, to safety toe to hiking, Danners are the most comfortable boots I have owned. I would personally like to see more domestically made product lines, particularly with non metallic safety toes.
