Great, but maybe not for beginners
I got an amazing deal, far better than second hand prices on marketplace and kijiji for what I can only assume was a windows display model bike by its condition. That being said, its description as having had a "pro" tune-up was misleading. The brakes were out of alignment, which I can forgive from shipping, but a couple of the adjustment screws, which aren't meant to be bottomed out, were, and were also a bit rounded out. The handlebar tape was super uneven. And the rear tubular was glued on sideways. All things that can be fixed, yet were strange. The bigger issue was that my bike takes a specific compression plug and the wrong one was included with the bike, however Cyclingavenue were very easy to deal with and refunded me the price for the correct plug with a photo of my receipt, so great service on that part. I'd recommend this place as long as you're comfortable working on your bike, otherwise I guess you could bring it to a mechanic to have the work done but of course that'll cut into costs, so make sure you're buying what you want. Overall very happy with my bike after some work.
