The Quality, Look and Feel of a High End Transportation Vehicle

$2,400 may seem like a high price to pay for what most people will see as a scooter or a big kids toy. That is until you unbox it and discover the fit and finish, the quality of the build, and the details that make this seem more like a high end performance car. It’s like the Ferrari of scooters. The color scheme along with the actual finish are not what you’d expect on a toy, you get a sense that the paint job belongs on a luxury sedan parked in valet at a night club or casino on the Las Vegas Strip. The design is simple, but simple in a way to make it work without unnecessary weight or complicated add on bits. So is it worth $2,400? You’ll discover the answer the first time to step on it and hit that thumb lever. If there’s a class know as the Ferrari of scooters, CycleBoard seems to have jumped to the top with the Gen 2 Rover.

Great information on when my cycleboard will be done. I wish it was quicker then that. I fell in love with it the first time I saw it. Beautiful machine you all put together. Pretty sure my friends see it, they will buy one. Please keep me inform.

A definite upgrade from the Cycleboard Elite model, worth the purchase!

I got this Rover 2 to replace the Elite Cycleboard that I bought for my fiancee (now wife) 3 years ago. This board is an improvement in every way, except for being heavier to get up and down our front porch. The Rover is very stable, has great braking and is MUCH more powerful with longer range. We live in San Francisco where the hills are steep and the car traffic is erratic, so safety and performance are huge factors here. I ride a Onewheel and my wife is now able to keep up with me on the steepest hills in San Francisco, which is quite an engineering feat! Phil Labonte and his team provided me with great customer service as well.

Rover G2

Love my new cycleboard, I’m 6’5” and 270 and it moves! Still waiting for the front fenders but understandable due to the LA Port issues during these trying times. It’s been great to just get outside and run around just to get out of the house!
