Just got back from a hog hunt at my buddy’s farm, and I had the chance to put the X-Sight 5 3-15x scope through its paces. This thing is a real game-changer. We were tracking hogs no more than 200 yards out, and the clarity and precision were absolutely top-notch, both during the day and at night. The day-to-night transition capabilities are seriously impressive. As dusk settled in, I didn’t have to swap out equipment or mess with any settings—the scope adjusted seamlessly, and the image stayed crystal clear. The smooth zoom made it a breeze to zero in on targets without any lag or jerkiness. One feature I really loved was the comfortable eye relief. With 90mm, I didn’t have to worry about getting too close and risking a scope bite from recoil. Speaking of recoil, the Recoil Activated Video (RAV) feature was a pleasant surprise. I didn’t have to fiddle with hitting the record button; the scope automatically captured the moments before and after each shot. Now I’ve got some great footage to share with friends and family. The built-in ballistic calculator came in handy more than once. After inputting my ammo details and the weather conditions, it helped me adjust my aim with precision. Battery life is solid, too. We were out there for a good 14 hours, and the scope held up without needing a recharge. I also played around with the custom reticle feature. Being able to design and upload my own reticle added a personal touch to the experience. The dual-stream video capability meant I could live-stream to my phone while recording in high definition on the scope itself.All in all, the X-Sight 5 3-15x is a fantastic piece of gear. It’s got a few quirks, but the benefits far outweigh any minor hiccups. If you’re looking to upgrade your setup with a versatile, feature-rich scope, I’d highly recommend giving this one a try.

The ATN x-sight LTV performs well. Video is crisp and clear. Night vision distance would probably be improved with larger infrared light. Easy to sight in. Works well.
