When I use this unit, I am reminded of my childhood fascination of such a device in Star Wars- watching AT-AT’s approach on Hoth. It is lightweight, has an amazing HUD design, and as “space age” as I’ve ever dreamt of. I plan on getting an ATN smart scope to assist in night time varmint removal- so they ‘communicate’ with each other by design.

My son had been wanting this but always puts his wife & kids first so I surprised him. He loves it! I was amazed at how clear everything is. He was amazed at the distance & zoom. He's still getting familiar with it but needless to say, I'm mom of the year 'round here!

Great unit, works really well, auto bright controls even during lighting , price is RIGHT, the only issue is that J-arms for mum type mounts ( the little dovetail on the mount) are harder to come by than for PVS type mounts. I like this monocular so well that if I had the money? I would buy two of them and a bridge mount so I could enjoy googles instead of a monocular. ( even. buying two monoculars and a bridge, it is still $1K cheaper than any other choice. PS ATN. shipping was great,
