Wing it on holiday
I have had my Buddy Commando for 4 years and cannot fault it's quality and performance. Being an avid photographer I found that the pockets, although great for storing spare torches and stuff got in the way of bulky camera gear. After much research into type and manufacturer, I plunged for the Tekwing.
Again, cannot fault quality, performance is better than expected. I attach my camera buddy line to one of the shoulder rings, my SMB/reel to lower left ring out of the way. I have a free frontal area for manipulation of strobe arms, without interference with pockets.
As anouther plus, I find that my buoyancy control is improved as I can use a 2kg trim weight in the left pouch and a 1kg in the right to counter balance the camera.
As a major plus point, at only 4.9kgs including integrated weight system, I can take it on holiday without compromising functionality or durability. (On this note, the crotch straps prevent wing rising up your body when using different thickness wet/dry suits).
