I normally wear Altra Lone Peak trail running shoes for OCR as I like the zero drop and wide toe box. I needed road running shoes with a wide toe box and for Hyrox. I wanted to stick with Altra. I tried on several pairs of road runnings shoes by Altra and settled on the Experience Flow 2 in white/blue/green. I don't normally wear white shoes. The shoes are very light, the tongue is padded, the stack height is very minimal and there are no hard sports in the sole of the shoe (no weird hard bits like you get with some carbon plated based runnings shoes). These shoes are comfortable and light to run in, time will tell of the grip on the base lasts.

Really comfortable shoes, light and effective for those speedy 5k runs. Loads of room in the tow box without being a loose fit. Less desirable over long distances if only because they tend to squeak after a while, each step, and no matter how many times I try adjust the fit.

Great shoe much eaiser on the foot than some barefoot shoes great for transitioning little tight above the ankle but not bad also definitely waterproof
