This is my second pair of Men's Escalante 4's in size 11. I am really happy with them. They fit great, and truly, I would not be walking much at all if it wasn't for the Altra shoes. I injured my right foot some time ago and could barely walk and was unable to wear any other shoes without pain. The local runner's shoe shop fitted me with these and I felt pain free and comfortable straight away. I've well worn the first pair, so had to get another pair. Will get more as time goes on. I really don't wear anything else now. I was pleased to find that Altra have changed the back of the shoe to prevent the inside filling slipping downwards. It is a game changer for me, the new rear of the shoe for comfort and wearability. I can wear these shoes everywhere, and they have not really worn out, they are great for not squashing my feet as there is plenty of room in the toe box, they look great so I can wear them out, and I just don't get tired sore feet with these. I am not a runner, but I walk a lot and occasionally do some light jogging. These are terrific for everything! Highly recommended. Also price is great, shipping was fast and was able to buy online and pay with Afterpay! Thanks Altra!!

Such a great performing shoe, stable and planted. The fit is great, nice and secure in the mid foot with plenty of room the my toes to splay. The outsole is grippy and allows for quick direction changes with slipping. The shoe is durable, it handles workout abuse like a champ. So pumped on these shoes, even wear them out at time because they work so well with jeans / chinos.
