Great shoes, the midsole is soft and boucy but stable. The rocker and heel to forefoot drop is perfect. The outsole rubber is working well on all surfaces so far. The upper is very comfortable, I can feel that it's slightly more narrow than the original width and fit but it suits my feet.

I recently bought this second pair of Lone Peak 9+ because I think the light green/khaki colour will be cooler in summer than my other black pair bought earlier this year. I like they have the right amount of cushioning underfoot without having the excessive cushioning of a lot of current running/walking shoes. I also like they have a flat sole as opposed to many other brands that have a lot of rocket on the sole I use them for walking and mostly have worn them around town so far, but have also done a few walks in hilly country with loose gravel on tracks and the tread handles these conditions really well. I have a wide foot and I find the wide fit of these shoes really comfortable. The ripstop upper material still looks like new and it looks will last a long time. The only drawback is the material doesn’t seem as breathable, hence buying a light colour pair for warmer weather. Overall I’m really happy with both pairs of my 9+.
