long time Altra user (Timp, Escalante and Torin)and this is my first non-zero drop altra. have only done 25K thus far but the initial impression is good. loving it thus far, really light and the cushioning is great.

The Escalante Racer has been my go to road running shoe for several years now. It's simple, light and smooth and great for training and racing, I have not needed any other road running shoes since these came out.
