My wife bought me my first fly rod starter 5/6 package for Valentine's day from wild water so I could go fishing in Colorado,we fished the San Juan and piedra river. The rod setup was nice and easy to use, on the 3rd day my son closed the tailgate on the rod and broke the last section, so had to get a new rod to finish the week out but I called and ordered a new end section from wild water and it was sitting on my door step when I got home now I have a backup for accidents. Really great fly rod/reel/case combo for first fly fishing trip. Caught plenty of fish on this setup and didn’t break the bank.

I have only fished with it a few times, but it is a quality rod and reel for the price I paid! I have yet to catch a fish, but I am just starting fly fishing! I did order 36 flies set after I saw the quality of the flies my combo came with! They were just as good as the first ones I received.
