We love our VSSLs. We have three large VSSLs. We have one filled minor first aid materials and fire starter materials. We have two VSSLs filled with spices for our meals. We also have a VSSL Java. Our VSSL products have been an awesome addition to our camping/overlanding experiences.

Vssl gear has always appealed to me and I guess that's because of my anal nature and my love of survival gear, but I always thought it was bit pricey. Well, recently Vssl had a site wide 25% off sale. So, this was the perfect time to load up. The stuff I purchased is well made and will most likely outlive me and for sure the coolest survival gear I own. I really like the build your own Vssl, so you could pick the size color and contents to meet your individual needs. I went a little crazy and purchased 4 cylinders and 25 of the pucks, and the flashlights and compasses, so I can mix and match all my Vssl's. I do wish they had a bigger selection of the pucks. For instance, they have one puck that has face paint inside. I don't know who needs that, but I was thinking a puck with water purification tablets or char cloth would be a good idea. They do sell empties so you put whatever you want inside. Anyway, if you want to bring your survival gear to the next level I would highly recommend adding a Vssl or two to your kit.
