Great product especially with an added Velcro strap

I bought the Hornit primarily to warn off dogs and dog owners. I’m still evaluating this aspect. The mount has a Garmin style half turn mount. The factory mounts work fine but because of very limited handle bar space, I want the Hornit on an out front mount and tried to use a real Garmin mount. The opening on the Garmin is a bit too small which would require me to trim either the Hornit or Garmin. Products by K-Edge, which are all aluminum are compatible but more expensive than the Hornit. I have yet to test the Hornit on an aggressive dog. Forget about actuality warning a car driver unless the windows are down and the music is off.

Hornit (or similar siren) is something I find indespenable for riding in traffic. The only problem is that one the trigger mechanism that attaches by wire is delicate and I frequently need to replace it. Also the trigger is a bit small and it may take a precious moment to locate
