Custom Frog Popper Comes to Life — Watch for It on Zombie Fly Co. ! I used the Wapsi Perfect Popper Fly Tying Kit from Trident to create a killer frog-style popper — and it turned out beautifully! I added my own eyes, flash, and hackle, and used markers (not paint) to lay down the frog pattern before sealing everything with a brushed-on epoxy topcoat. The foam head included in the kit took the detail work really well, and the results are slick.
