I’ve been using the San Miguel 7/8 on my 8wt for bass fishing and it’s been awesome. The drag is super smooth and strong enough to handle big fish with no problem. It feels solid, looks great, and balances the rod really well. It’s definitely pricey, but you can tell it’s built to last. No regrets.

The rod reviews shared by Trident were instrumental in narrowing down my purchase. I was also able to view an older Trident review on a rod that already own and really like for comparison. I then called and discussed the rod with the Trident guys at the shop - which sealed the deal. Great experience working with Trident!

I like the quality of the shooting heads,over rating the shipping. But the shipping time was also excellent !
