Improved TheraGun
I'm an above average recreational sport kinda guy. I go to the gym a few times a week, but I get out there mountain biking, snowboarding, and hiking etc as much as I can. I'm often a little beat up and sore and as much as I love getting an hour massage every week, this thing really does the trick when it comes to relieving soreness. 600 bucks or 10 massages i thought... well I can get a lot more relief over time with this thing. In the short long-run it'll save me money, I can conveniently massage myself whenever I want (provided I have time) or get one of my buddies to work out a kink i cant quite reach. Then pass it off to him/her. ;As far as the upgrade, i didn't own the previous model but my friend did and I was impressed with it so obviously I got my own. The new design is a bit more ergonomically designed, its sleeker looking and does have the nice on and off switch. I was looking for a slower speed which it doesn't seem to have where some areas of the body would require less intensity such as the neck, but the model does come with a dampener attachment which seems to do the trick. My honest opinion is this thing isn't going to feel great to someone who likes a "gentle rub" when going to get a massage. However, being a high school and collegiate athlete with old injuries starting to flare up now and again...This thing really does a nice job revitalizing. Good product and seemingly very well built.
