So I was skeptical on buying this. It's SO expensive, and it looks like the kind of thing in 5 years you can find at Walmart. Boy was I wrong! If my house caught on fire, it would be in the top 5 things I would take. I take this thing on international travel, on vacation! I use it 2 to 3 times. Every. Single. Day. I use it after working out. And before working out. And when I wake up. This might not be an intended application, but it's completely fixed my back as well. I used to have some lumbar issues and went to the Chiro roughly once a month. A good cash pay type Chiro. With the Theragun there's no need to do that anymore. And this is coming from someone that had the mobilitywod tools, the vibrating foam rollers, etc. I almost bought one as a gift too. Yeah that's right, at that crazy price point! After my friend tried it he bought his own. So really I would give this thing 6 stars if I could. It's hard to comprehend just how good it is. I've learned things about my body, like how the Psaos muscle impacts back pain. This thing can just do things other tools cant from my life experience. This thing is legit. It's hard to really grasp just how good it is. Obviously it's got a crazy price point. But it meets the "toothbrush rule": if you're reasonably active you will use this at least twice a day. Strongly recommend.

The Theragun is AMAZING! It allows me to take care of my body like never before! Foam rollers are a thing of the past for me now.

We have 9 units and players love using them before and after workouts. Great alternative method to foam rolling. The players are able to do it themselves and gives them ownership in keeping their body healthy and ready for workouts.

I am a 50 year old casual endurance athlete. I run, swim or bike everyday. I was scared this product would either be too strong or too weak (if that makes any sense). Also the price was a solid investment. Well.... this delivers on all cylinders. I only need to use this about 15 seconds max. The two batteries, the recharger are a bit much for private use. This is designed for mass commercial use. As for percussion itself, I would not extrapolate any miracle pain relief aside from kick-ass movement. I don’t suffer from any chronic pain so I can’t say. And yes, you can use this on yourself.
