Hard to find decent forks for the 26" platform so I went with this one as I wanted the 120 travel. First ride yesterday and it performed surprisingly well. Will be adding the abs+ upgrade soon to make it even better. Take a hike had the best price I could find and it shipped fast. Would not hesitate to buy from them again.

For an economical fork this one is great.. the extension to 120mm is pretty easy but frustrating to reinsert the rod. Upgrade to ABS makes this fork a killer ride. I’ve been on Manitou forks for years and have been very impressed with the build quality and simplicity of the design. Can’t go wrong at this price!

I really like the TRP brakes. They engage over a short throw and can be modulated effectively with very little finger pressure. And if you wanna "lock em up" that's easy too. Best brakes I've had, and I've had them all. OH, and Take a Hike is the bomb. Placed my order on Friday, and it showed up on Wednesday even though some needed parts were not in stock at the time of order. Ya gotta understand, this is not a big company, so don't expect Amazon Prime delivery time, but unlike Amazon, you can get a personal response from them in short order. I use these guys any time it is possible.
