I absolutely love our first ever Nutcase Helmet. My son is 10yrs old and has had 3 craniotomies due to being born with Craniosynostosis. In our Craniosynostosis community we all struggle with finding a helmet that will fit our children's heads. Me personally have struggled not only because of his Craniosynostosis but also because he has microcephaly so his head his smaller than a typical 10yr old. Your company makes an infant size helmet that you can add a different size padding too. Which we purchased due to the fact my sons head was smaller than the infant size with the padding it came with. The most exciting part for me as a special needs parent is that your patterns/designs aren't geared for infants/toddlers. Your designs are created towards older children as well even in the infant section of helmets. We decided on the zebra pattern. Not only was it gender neutral coloring but it was also not "babyish". The zebra stripes is known widely in our Rare disease community and although that most likely isn't why you created the amazing design, it is the reason for choosing that design for us. I will always recommend your helmets to everyone we see. My son was able to go on a tractor ride with his papa for the first time ever. He was able to just be a little boy for once and not have his medically complexities bogging him down. Thankyou for making such a quality product. One that protects and fits all noggins. Be it a neurotypical or special needs child/adult. I will definitely be ordering again when I need a new helmet!
