Found StaminaPro on Amazon when my other go to patches were no longer available. I was curious about the "no medication" application or reaction and how it would work as I was also starting to have skin reactions to the other patches with multiple Chinese herbs. I was pleasantly surprised by the effectiveness and have been sharing the info with my massage clients as another alternative to consider. After an on/off 4-8wk period of using the patches now, I notice the effectiveness only lasts 12-18hrs vs 24 as advertised and the stickiness of the patch leaves my skin itchy, bumpy, and sometimes overly dry and peeling where the patch was located (even though I try to rotate around and keep time off for 1-2+ days in between for healing). The white pain patches are much gentler when having to peel off. The tan patches are a bear to get off and leave the most undesirable feeling tearing them away (worse than a bandaid sometimes). Yet, the tan patches feel more effective with pain relief than the white. However, there is also an unclear understanding of what is really being used in them and there's an incomplete ingredient list, so if someone has sensitivities as I do (to many food products and such)... although there's no medication there has to be something that one could react to as I know I can react skin wise to one thing and blood wise differently to the same thing. I wish there was a full disclosure on the item list. Secondly, there's no clear direction on how many patches can be worn and for what length of time is safe. It's understood as a few patches for up to 24hrs and because there is not supposed to be any reaction it's not started how often they could be worn safely. Has that been tested? I'm starting to realize how much they mask the pain of my shoulder injury when on and when the patches come off the pain intensifies more from where it was, but they do get me through my work day (I have other therapies going on as well so I'm not just relying on the patches alone but it is interesting to learn and understand that it just temporarily relieves inflammation and to beware that in reducing inflammation doesn't mean the body is healing while it is worn - different from when I was using something that had herbs in it.). My overall thought though is that I still like the patches and when used in conjunction with other therapies they can be helpful.
