I had my online purchase delivered to my local dealer. Picked up my bike and took it on its first ride. Immediately the rear wheel started creaking on every rotation. I rode around for about a quarter mile trying to debug. Gave up and tossed my bike back in my truck. Took the bike back to the local dealer. They instantly diagnosed a messed up rim seam issue. Said I could keep riding it. I said “no way I’m riding a creaking bike around I just paid 6k for and haven’t ridden yet”. They loaned me a wheel and I’ve been able to ride. This was over 2 weeks ago. It took you guys about 2 weeks to warranty a brand new bunk rim. Super lame. I live in Durango Colorado. Lots of pro riders here. I bet if I was one of your local pros that rim would have shown up the next day. Doesn’t instill a lot of faith about your dedication to your customers. Not cool. Digging the bike otherwise but annoyed about this process and how I paid 50 bucks to have the local spot prep it for my pickup and how I’ve now had to drive back to the store multiple times for this issue.
