Overall it was a smooth transaction, however... The gun was sent with the 25 round magazine. I live in a state that only allows 10 rounds. Normally the stores replace the larger magazine with the 10 round magazine before shipping them. SMGA sent the 25 round magazine, which the local FFL can't legally give me. The FFL told me to contact SMGA, that usually dealers who accidentally send the larger magazine will exchange it for the smaller legal one. I contacted SMGA and was told I could return the order. - The WHOLE order. They wouldn't get a 10 round magazine for me. I had to order one at my cost. I won't order from SMGA again.

I drive 80 miles to pickup a handgun purchase only to be told I had to come back the next day because the gun wasn’t entered into the “ system” yet By Skylar. It seems that simple process could be performed by others but apparently not. I was then told by the guy helping me that when I came back the next day “they would make it right”. Well I mentioned that the next day when I picked up the gun (after another 80 mile trip) and was told sorry. I wasn’t expecting anything grand but a simple gesture of a box of shells, decals, koozie or some other swag that the store gets would have been nice. Oh well.
