iPhone 16 Pro Max Rugged Case

Bought my first Rockform case for my 16 Pro Max and it’s the best case I ever had, forget Otterbox and others. The unpack experience is great and then the case. Thanks DDE for there recommendation.

Longtime Rokform user! Finally upgraded to my 16 Pro Max today, having ordered my limited edition rugged case and screen protector well in advance! The color along with the look and feel of this case truly compliments the latest Pro Max! Love how it feels in the hand and the buttons work smoothly, especially the Action & Camera buttons! MagSafe works very well with my existing chargers and I keep a locking sport magnet ring in my car for extra hold with my dashboard magnet mounts. A real treat to finally attach this amazing rugged case to my new iPhone and have no doubt will keep it safe as your cases have done for my smartphones for nearly a decade! Works perfectly to suit my needs at home, at the office and in the field! IMHO Rokform remains my ‘go to’ for reliable iPhone accessories!

I really like this case. I had the same case for my iPhone 13 Pro Max and loved it. The pros: The buttons all work well and are easy to reach. They are easy to press and there have been no issues or misses. I really like the raised rim around the camera. I have camera lens protectors on my phone, and this case still has some clearance to stop the lenses from touching flat surfaces when the phone is face up…with camera laying against the flat surfaces. I like that the case came with both a magnetic and plastic (non-magnetic) plug for the mounting hole on the back of the case. The con (only one that I can think of): I wish the cutout for the iPhone 16 Pro Max camera button (bottom right button on the phone) was curved inward…toward the phone, so it is easier to slide your finger on the new photo button. It is still reachable, but I have seen cases where the functionality of the button is better because the way the button is designed to be used was taken into consideration when the case was built. On the flip side, this case probably has better protection. The finger sliding is slightly hampered, but it does still work. Overall, I do like the case very much. For future versions, it would be nice to figure out a way to allow a cleaner way to both protect the phone and allow easy access to the photo button.

Honestly, I was surprised by the quality of the material. I like that it looks rugged but not clunky, even somewhat elegant because it’s black and the finishes. I just think the magnets should be a bit bigger since it has fallen off my car mount a few times because it doesn’t hold well or isn’t properly centered. Maybe if it were bigger, I wouldn’t have that problem.
