My First ROKA R1 The ROKA R1 was recommended to me by a friend of mine for open water swimming prior to competing in my 1st open water swimming event and 1st swimming competition in over 52 years. I had time to use the goggles several times before the November 15th event, adjusting fit from too tight to too loose for my narrow face. By race date I must have had it pretty close, because only one strap slipped off my head once and I had only minimal leakage during the race, and the optics really helped me see the buoys. Great goggles.

Easy to purchase but the suit was a little too smal

I already have two other ROKA wetsuits, which are fantastic. Unfortunately, when I went to put them on before my Ironman, I was too fat to fit in them, so I quickly ordered the cheapest option Roka had They got it to me extremely quickly, which I really appreciated, and answered questions I had immediately. The suit feels definitely slower and not as sleek as my other options, but I knew it would be that way going in. I think it would make a great beginner suit and I don’t have any problem with it not being as good as the more expensive options that I have in my closet.
