Pelican 1620 case arrived in great condition. Not my first Pelican case so I was happy with the construction. The price was fantastic. I purchased the Desert Tan color. Very pleased with my choice. This case will be used to house my two medium format cameras. I got the equipment placed in the foam. Multiple layers of foam made it easy to get just the right shape to hold the equipment secure. This is the first Pelican case I own with the wheels installed. My only issue is the retractable handle is a little too flexible for my tastes. I easily retracts and extends locking on place in both positions. When fully extended the handle flexes as you pull the case on its wheels. This flexing caused the case not to always directly follow, twisting at times in my hand. I have luggage that uses retractable handles that are much more rigid. They do not have this twisting problem. I am perfectly happy with the Pelican 1620 case even with the handle issue. I would not have any reluctance to purchase another if need should arises.
