Hi, I just bought a Pelican 1750 case to ship a rifle to be repaired. These Pelican cases are tanks. We use them for our special tools at work. And I certainly wanted the security of what I consider the best case on the market to ship my rifle across the country in. Now our cases at work get abused heavily and occasionally some one will break a latch of the box. It happens but Pelican offers parts to replace broken items like this. That is a substantial factor in purchasing a professional level case, the ability to repair it without replacement costs or downtime. My 1750 is in desert tan and the case looks great. The foam inserts are sturdy and strong. Now I am considering buying a smaller case to contain and secure a handgun and suppressor. If you're on the fence about buying a Pelican case you won't find a better case. I highly recommend them. Also, the website and ordering process was simple and easy with prompt delivery of my case.
