We purchased this tent on line without being able to inspect it, so we were not sure what to expect. We are a couple with a 40 year history camping in various forms of tents and we are really pleased with this purchase. We used the tent on our recent Darling River Run, camping out 6 nights in 3 different locations. The Somerset provides us with a surprising amount of space, both in the bedroom and the storage room. We used the storage room to keep fridge and food, (secure from wildlife wanting a free feed), porta-potty, luggage and chairs when raining. The storage room floor significantly reduces the amount of dust and dirt tracked in to the bedroom. The tent can be set up by 1 person and is extremely stable. We didn't see the need to use the guy ropes, which meant we were not constantly tripping over them. The guy ropes should probably be used in high wind but the tent is extremely stable without them. The unique combo pole system provides a lot more head room in both rooms, not just in the centre of the dome. We had rain on our last night and the fly shed the water nicely, keeping the tent dry. Highly recommend this tent.
